Systems Administration Short Course

The next Systems Administration Short Course has been cancelled until further noticeThis is a short course on Linux/Unix systems administration with an emphasis on hands-on experience. Our primary focus in this course is to bring students up to a level where they can install and securely maintain Linux machines in hostile, real-world environments.
Applicants should have prior experience with the Unix/Linux command line interface. Prior experience installing Linux is a plus but not required.
The course has a modular design where each module covers a core concept, its security implications, and hints on automation techniques to make life simpler in a large, complex environment.
The hands-on section of the course will be focused on The Fedora Project, a free distribution of Linux based on and supported by Red Hat.
